Cardiidae – Clams

Cardiidae is an order of Marine Bivalve Molluscs, also known as Cockles. It includes the Giant Clam (Tridacna gigas), which is the largest bivalve in the world! Many, including The Giant Clam, are commercially important species, eaten around the world.
