Eukaryotes

Eukaryotes are organisms that have chromosomes wound into DNA and held within a distinct nucleus inside the cell/s. This is where the majority of creatures sit, including all animals and plants.

Kingdom – A higher level of classification

• Animalia – You may know this as The Animal Kingdom

• Chromista – Brown Seaweeds and bizarre microscopic organisms

• Plantae – Including Marine Algae

• Protozoa – More microscopic organisms that sit between plants, animals and Bacteria
